Invitation to Ph.D. candidates & related people
We wish to invite you to participate in the 1st international Ph.D. candidate meeting at
IPEC-Hiroshima-2014 in Japan on Sunday 18th May. During this meeting, several invited Ph.D. candidates
and young professional engineers will give a presentation regarding his/her present status such as research
and environmental conditions. We are hoping that this will enable participants to learn more about each
other’s life styles, education contexts and the research systems in different countries/areas. We intend to
facilitate a mix of presentations, panel discussions and free discussions involving researchers from several
countries/areas. After the meeting, we are planning to offer a free lunch and dinner for participants. Dinner
will be held in a traditional Japanese style pub so called “Izakaya” just after the IPEC-2014 welcome party
closed. We believe that this will be a great opportunity to meet and make new acquaintances. If you are
